With over 20 years experience developing, managing, leading all areas of human resources, working across multiple industries and in leadership roles for small start-up companies to large national companies, Elizabeth has the expertise to lead and manage your HR functions.
Elizabeth is recognized for “thinking outside the box” approach to solving workplace problems and partnering with business leaders. Highlights of Elizabeth’s experience includes:
Led and implemented workplace planning for national healthcare company. Her contributions resulted in a structured recruitment program, compensation policies that ensured equity and fair pay and new hire training that retained valuable new hires.
Implemented externship and mentor programs for new grads. This resulted in filling much needed vacancies for hard to fill positions, while giving managers an opportunity to “assess” the externs for permanent job opportunities.
Pioneered retention programs by designing new hire and annual employee satisfaction surveys. Trained regional operation leaders on results of surveys and retention strategies recruitment and retention resulted in increasing employee retention by 20%.
Established human resources for three start-ups companies/divisions. Successfully implementing employee handbooks, manager training, hiring all team members, compensation practices, on-boarding and new hire orientation.
Led manager trainings on leave of absence management, tracking and managing call-outs, performance management, harassment in the workplace, recruitment best practices, removing bias and favoritism from the workplace.
Elizabeth is a certified HR Professional (PHR) through HRCI. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from University of Massachusetts. In addition she is certified as a Discrimination and Harassment trainer, Certified Professional Career Coach, studying for Certified Digital LinkedIn Specialist and Authorized DISC Administrator and Behavioral Consultant.
She is a member of HRCI, SHRM and PARWCC.
